There it goes...

Do you ever have one of those months where it seems that you can't catch a break. James has been working a lot of extra hours lately which means a little extra pay, so time to play right? Well first we had everyone get sick and had to pay a billion in doctors and prescription costs, not fun.

Then today I was all set to wash the dishes and get dinner going. I had to put some food down the sink and wouldn't you know, the disposal is dead. Not just dead where the reset button will fix it, oh no, dead like weird burning smells coming from it. Can I just say that having to hand scrape oatmeal out of the disposal is GROSS. So off to Ace hardware for a new one. The fun question will be how long will it sit in the box on the counter!?! I am hoping it gets installed tomorrow, but I guess time will tell.

We had ours go out not that long ago too. It's so wonderful to put in. I had to run to Lowe's like three times that night. So infuriating. Of course that had more to do with how the builders put the old one in and not as much to do with putting a new one in. Good luck.

Maybe it's time to switch to the High Deductible Health Plan. I guess you just need to be grateful that James has put in those extra hours so you don't go int debt, right? Here's to hoping nothing else needs ypur money.

That is a great graphic. Okay, it takes a lot of mental preparedness for me to put my hand in a garbage disposal. I can barely do it. I don't know what phobia that is called, but I've got it. I can hardly watch someone else do it. It really is freaking me out just thinking about it.

I think that's the rule in life, if you make a little money then you have to spend it on stuff that you wish you didn't have to! Medical bills are terrible. We too have a HIGH deductible, it's painful! I hope the sink gets fixed ASAP!!!

That's nothing! About 2 months after I quit working, we had to put about $400 into my car (that broke 75 miles from home!!) then the disposal AND dishwasher went out within two days of each other! I am just hoping that is the end for this year =-)
