I really did!

I really did what? you might ask. Well, I took the kids shopping for Christmas outfits.  I have an almost eight year old and in her eight years I have bought one dress. Yes friends, just one.  The dress that I bought was the blessing gown that each of the girls have worn.  That is it!  I have always hated wearing dresses and therefore have no interest in buying dresses, thank goodness for Grandparents that like to shop.

But on Thursday I took the kids out and let each of the girls pick out a dress (with a bit of help and direction from me; seriously, why sell sleeveless Christmas dresses, in IDAHO.)  So we found three cute dresses and one handsome little outfit.  I think they all look adorable, but I may be a bit biased!

Sleeveless Christmas dresses crack me up too. I think I've only bought Abigail one dress in her life too, and it was an Easter dress. My mom made her blessing dress. Hand me downs and grandparents are awesome for getting beautiful dresses.

I agree, they are adorable. I hate wearing dresses too. In fact, I don't own a dress, just skirts. Hate wearing those too.

I have to say here that while you never buy dresses, your girls are ALWAYS decked out in the finest frocks available. Yes, thank goodness for grandparents - ALL kids clothes are a waste of money as far as I'm concerned - they stain them before they get them on their bodies and then they grow out of them while you are laundering the STAIN! So hooray for your picture - because the moment is past!!!
