Summer Time Fun

As usual life has gotten away from me and I have not blogged in a while...sorry. But here is a great collection of photos showing what we have been up to for the past month.

We tried to take a nice family photo on the 4th of July. We needed a new photo that included Arabella in the family. Our wonderful neighbor Heather let us use her as a photographer and her patriotic living room as the backdrop. We must indoctrinate the kids early.

More on the adventures of eating with Arabella.

Here we wanted to get a funny face from her so we gave her a taste of a pickle, wouldn't you know it though, she LOVED it. She kept eating it, what a silly kid.

Here she is enjoying her new cup and some delicious peas.

This month the kids also started swimming lessons and had a blast learning to swim.

This past week we were able to spend time with some of our family from San Diego. Great-Grandma Rita and Great-Grandpa Oscar came up as well as Grandma, Grandpa and Kelsey. While they were here we had a lot of fun playing and spending time together.

We went to the Idaho Falls Visitor Center here.

And then a trip to the Zoo was in order.

We saved blessing Arabella until we could have family here with us and it was a wonderful experience. She was the first of the girls to not cry during her blessing. She was happy and smiled at Daddy the whole time.

Four generation photo.

Those involved in the blessing.

Happy family photo.

Despite my best intentions, I have girly-girls, how it happened I do not know, but here are some of the consequences of it :)

Makeover time, they just had to have their fingers and their toes painted.

Grandpa was also a willing participant and allowed them to give him a makeover as well.

MacKayla is a little model.

The Girls just being silly.

Family photos.

Arabella has never liked losing control of her feet. She does not like to have them covered, held or kept away, even when she sleeps. We find her almost every morning having kicked her feet out of her jammies, and I was finally able to capture it, what a silly little girl.
