Summer Time Fun

As usual life has gotten away from me and I have not blogged in a while...sorry. But here is a great collection of photos showing what we have been up to for the past month.

We tried to take a nice family photo on the 4th of July. We needed a new photo that included Arabella in the family. Our wonderful neighbor Heather let us use her as a photographer and her patriotic living room as the backdrop. We must indoctrinate the kids early.

More on the adventures of eating with Arabella.

Here we wanted to get a funny face from her so we gave her a taste of a pickle, wouldn't you know it though, she LOVED it. She kept eating it, what a silly kid.

Here she is enjoying her new cup and some delicious peas.

This month the kids also started swimming lessons and had a blast learning to swim.

This past week we were able to spend time with some of our family from San Diego. Great-Grandma Rita and Great-Grandpa Oscar came up as well as Grandma, Grandpa and Kelsey. While they were here we had a lot of fun playing and spending time together.

We went to the Idaho Falls Visitor Center here.

And then a trip to the Zoo was in order.

We saved blessing Arabella until we could have family here with us and it was a wonderful experience. She was the first of the girls to not cry during her blessing. She was happy and smiled at Daddy the whole time.

Four generation photo.

Those involved in the blessing.

Happy family photo.

Despite my best intentions, I have girly-girls, how it happened I do not know, but here are some of the consequences of it :)

Makeover time, they just had to have their fingers and their toes painted.

Grandpa was also a willing participant and allowed them to give him a makeover as well.

MacKayla is a little model.

The Girls just being silly.

Family photos.

Arabella has never liked losing control of her feet. She does not like to have them covered, held or kept away, even when she sleeps. We find her almost every morning having kicked her feet out of her jammies, and I was finally able to capture it, what a silly little girl.

Fun Times

It's finally summer time! Here are some pictures of the flowers blooming and the girls playing outside.

Here are some pictures of the girls having fun and playing together.

Arabella is a happy and cute little girl.

Arabella LOVES eating! Here are some attempts at eating green beans, she decided to try to help herself and you can see that she managed to get it all over herself. We also have a cute one of daddy feeding her.

Annika decided to help me to make bread the other day and she had a blast doing it.

Fun Little Ones

We have been a little lax with publishing lately so here's the current update. Summer is upon us here (well maybe, I'll show you what I mean a little later.) MacKayla finished preschool at the end of May and is now looking forward to going to Kindergarten in the Fall. The girls had their dance recital at the end of May as well and I will try to put up a video of it as soon as we can get a firewire card to actually work on our computer.

Arabella had her 4 month check up last week and she is doing great. She is 13lbs 4 oz, now and 25 1/2in. She is growing up so fast.

The first two photos here are of Arabella eating her first foods. She started eating rice cereal this weekend and loved it! We had given her little bites of things before and she was more than ready to get into this eating business.

Here we have the girls just being their silly selves. They love to pose and be as silly as possible as soon as I bring out the camera.

I was finally able to get a wonderful picture of all of the girls ready for church. I love how big Arabella's smile is.

When we accepted a job in Idaho I knew we would be in for cold and snow in the winter. However, I did not expect to have a snow storm in the middle of JUNE! We have had some crazy storms over the last couple of weeks and last week we actually woke up to snow. I didn't get to take a picture of all the snow on the ground, but you can see the little bit that was left on the deck.

Black and White

We have been experimenting with creating black and white photos and here are some of the best that we have done.

The girls are getting ready for their dance recital at the end of the month and here are some photos of them in their costumes.

I never liked the naked baby photos that my mom had of me so I never took any of the other girls, but with Bella I decided to get a few and they turned out so cute.

For Mother's day I received a new ring and I wanted to get a cool photo of it, so we tried to get "arty" and use an idea that a friend had done with her baby, so here is the atempt.
